Where should I hang my stained glass?

Good question! It is best that your stained glass piece is hung indoors, outside of the elements. For a sturdier hang, I would suggest a nail in a window pane or on the wall. A suction cup on a glass window would also work, just make sure you find a heavy duty one that can hold 5-10 pounds.

How should I care for my stained glass?

Traditional stained glass should last for a long time, even forever, if taken care of accordingly. Every piece is finished with a wax to preserve its shine. Naturally, you may start to notice discoloration on the solder. This means that your piece has started to oxidize.

To maintain a healthy shine and to care for the natural oxidation process, it is recommended that you use a damp Q-Tip to wash and then apply a new waxing. Carnauba wax or any kind of car wax will take care of it!

What materials are used in my stained glass? - Lead Disclaimer

Traditional stained glass consists of cutting sheets of glass to shape, then grinding them down to a smooth texture. It is then copper foiled, soldered, and cleaned. Then I apply patina, clean it again, and finish it up with some charm!

In regular hangings, I use a 60/40 solder that does contain lead. It is a good reminder to wash your hands after care!
All jewelry pieces are lead-free.

What happens if my piece breaks?

Email me some pictures! Depending on where the break is, I may be able to offer some help for a small fee. If it breaks along the solder, unfortunately the solder cannot be removed. In this case, you may have to retire your hanging and save up for a new herbal charm.

Do you accept refunds or returns?

Kindly, I will not issue a return or refund. Please make sure there is love for your piece before purchase!

Where do you find your plants?

All of the plants you find with Radiant Flora are sourced from the Earth! The plants used in your stained glass piece have been collected, pressed in my plant press or a big ole book, and then encased within sheets of glass. Most of the plants I find on hikes, taking only a few at a time to remain mindful of its natural habitat. Some plants come from beautiful bouquets, friends' gardens, or right in my backyard!

I believe that every plant has a medicine that contributes to our well-being. Click on 'The Roots' section to read more about this process.

Will my pressed plants fade?

Over time, and depending on the type of plant, there will be some natural fade to your plant hanging. Synthetic sprays do exist to help extend the plant’s colored life, but fading would occur with or without this spray. That is why I opt to not use any sprays and instead encourage us to enjoy and observe the natural life and death process of your plant’s color!
